I just can't decide!! My alliegance lies with Brendan and Natasha - of course - but I just can't seem to decide, I really was so gutted for Aled and Lilia when they went out (when they shouldn't have done, in my opinion) so I really want them to have a slice of the 'winners cake' even if it's just the Xmas special and not a whole series. That's a totally emotion based response, I know, and it should be whoever dances the best on the night but.... don't we all base so much of our responses on emotion when it comes to SCD??!

I haven't voted yet.... I'll see if I finally give in to my heart or my head!

Nat, you are right to say that lesley and Anton were unjustly eliminated from SCD1. I think that both Lesley and Anton, and Aled and Lilia deserve to win the Xmas special.

I think that Natasha would have found it quite difficult to beat Jill and Darren and Denise and Ian if they had all been in the same show.
Overall , the standard of series 2 was higher, with 3 celebrities who actuallly learnt to dance well. If Sarah had been able to put in more effort then she looked as if she would have been more than a passable dancer and probably in the semi instead of Julian or Denise.
I would like to see Aled and Lilia win if only because her routines are so good and the effort they have put in is huge, more hours trained than anyone up to the semi, and also because musiaclly he is far and away the best of them all, he has for the music and that shows in his dancing.

I may as well suggest Denise and Ian because she's had such a rough time and it would mean a lot to them to win a public vote. But realistically I would prefer Natasha and Brendan to win rather than Jill and Darren. However Aled & Lilia and Lesley & Anton deserve it too because they were voted out so cruelly - oh I don't know, so indecisive -  they all rock!

Ok, N&B fans are not going to like whats coming, but I was told this is the place to express any views or opinions so I'm going to go where no mans been before....(deep breath), here it goes:

I think it would be nice to see another couple win the Xmas dance off but (sadly) I also think a major percentage of the population will vote for Brendan and Natasha because of their 'chemistry'!  Brendan is an ok dancer, NOT sexy, TOO self assured and cocky to the point of being arrogant - Natasha wears beautiful frocks, has an elegant image, acts coy ALL THE TIME (very annoying), and not a very good dancer!!  IN MY OPINION the 'chemistry' is all the hooha about them OFF the show!  The 'are they' or 'aren't they' kept many hooked on them and what was even more interesting was the fact that they had respective partners at the time!  The press just loves a juicy bit of gossip - good publicity!  'Dance-wise' I don't think they are good enough to win.

Right, I've said it......and suddenly I feel like I'm in the firing line - alone!!  I really should have worn my bullit prove vest first!  If anybody knows my Mum, please tell her I wish to be cremated.  Many thanks and despite our differences, it was nice knowing you all.

 

Plus I felt they had chemistry before I heard about the 'are they/aren't they' issue! so i don't think it can only be about that!

As someone b4 said, xmas is a time 4 peace and goodwill.....launching personal attcks on  the dancers isnt very nice! lol....i  know its not that bad, but A+L, M+E, A+L, J+D and D+I fans remember no-one says anything nasty about them on their boards ! lol

Don't worry, you are not the only one with that oppinion... there are more people in this board that agree with what you say... We are a minority at the moment but we exist...

I totally I agree that Natasha is not a good dancer and very annoying, but I'm afraid I think Brendan is a brilliant dancer... I've seen him many times dancing with Camilla and that is really something to write home about...but with Natasha, he just can't dance and doesn't look good at all...and the so called "chemistry" is as you say all about the gossip...

There are better dancers in the Christmas Special and they deserve the title much more than B + N do!

......like Denise & Ian... (for getting it all right in the end through sheer guts and determination all the way)

The "rumour" is Aled himself and was said in answer to questions at his concerts, at least twice now.He does a Q and A section in every show, mostly lighthearted.(He still has 4 left , last one TUES night!) He could be just joking of course but he also says lots of lifts and he may , just may be singing.He won't let on too much as it would spoil it, but it will be funny, the show not just he and Lilia.
I'd guess they have something they want to prove especially after Arlene's comment and i would love to see them win and so would lots of others and it's 002 for them!!!!

I agree about Brendan and Natasha, media speculation and attention does wonders for the public profile!! and there are an awful lot of people here very taken up with what they are up to off the dance floor and assuming that any realtionship they may or may not have will make them somehow better dancers. than everyone else.
Surely to be able to put across the whole story of the dance and NOT be embroiled in some on/off romance is more skilful and praiseworthy.
Don't forget , Lesley really loves danceing and I know lots convinced they were involved!!!
Whatever, it's a fun piece of Christmas entertainment , hopefully a cut above repeats and films we have all seen twice already. Let's all just VOTE ALED AND LILIA and enjoy ashow that will be all too short!!

You're right there are a lot of Natasha and Brendan fans on here, and not just because of the speculation over their private lives. We all have our favourites, but its one thing to talk about dance abilities and performances and quite another to make personal comments about people that you have probably never met.

I do think this is a little unfair - I know Natasha does sometimes give the impression on TV of being quite cold but she is really not like that. I have met her and I also know people that know her and it couldn't be further from the truth.
