Looking at the final three, i think that Jill should defineyly win. she has a nice personality and her a good attitude towards dancing. She really CAN dance, and she is a natural

Julian and Denise can't really dance. i think that denises body and structure has been formed to run and throw - not dance. which explains why she is so flat footed, and doesn;t have enough hip movelnt. she seems to be rater wooden. julian is an entertainer, he is funny and the public obviously love him

there is a clear winner staring at us all in the face - and that is definetly Jill

even though Darren and Jill say you can never be too sure...........everybody can see that they should win and will be the winners of strictly come dancing 2

Jill and Darren are the couple who I want to win, (well it was Aled and Lilia but they have gone *sniff sniff*) however, I think the recent crititsims, however small, from the judges may affect them and also the public think that they don't need votes so they vote for Julian.

I think Denise and Ian may win it on ability alone, they are not really funny, fabulous or anything like others have been but they get top marks consistently. Also, I had a dream that Aled and Lilia would go out and Denise and Ian would win LOL

Julian and Erin I think will win on Public Vote because the public love them He is funny, but that is it. It is not a reason to vote. Not a huge Julian and Erin fan, howver they have progressed. Won;t be voting for them though although I think they may even win.

Lorniex

still sad about Aled and Lilia

i think julian could well win, denise will get the lowest vote, and Jill will need to win with the judges to prevent Julian winning, but he still could if Denise gets top score. Watch out for Jill shooting back up to the top!! nudge , nudge

Denise cannut win I'm sure however, well she dances, julian will get the vote, just astonight . people though Oh Jill and Aled will get a huge vote anyway so may as well vote for Julian.
Exactly what Bruce warned would happen , the best dancers don't always win

I hope Jill wins , but I won't vote nor will be botherd if I don't see it. The magic and sparkle has gone. the most attractive couple and the most charming, witty , clever and funny STAR you will ever come across. SCD2 would not have been the same without Aled and Lilia.
Go to his concerts and meet him after, he is gorgeous and wonderful to chat to.
Two fab routines and still they have a go at his footwork, he doesn't make his nerves work for him etc. Shame on the Judges!!!!!! They looked superb and danced brilliantly

I haven't got a clue who will win...but on reflection it won't be I & D...they simply are not liked enough by the public. I think it depends on how well J & D dance. They can't aford to let I & D come first again. Anyway I think Jill has had a bit of a "jolt" since her tango comments hence her 10 in the paso. Actually I think Darren is really competitive...

Julian is a great character but he shouldn't win...otherwise this show becomes a bit of a farce.

I am 100% certain Jill and Darren will win.

And as in series one, they will be the rightful winners.

Denise doesnt have the public vote, Julian doesn't have the judges. Therefore Jill is second with the public and first or second with the judges. She will win.

There may be a dramatic turnround in public support for Denise or Erin might be miracle worker but Jill will be holding that trophy aloft on saturday night.

That is unless it is only the public vote that counts in which case Mr Clary and Miss Boag may well be celebrating .

Sorry Jamie I seem to have followed you around these boards and keep agreeing with you! So I'll do it again!

Much as I love Julian, no he shouldn't win. What a waste it would be to see the Christmas Special and supposedly the idea that the winners from the two series were competing (i.e. N&B and J&E - plus others but you know what I mean) I really think Jill and Darren should win so we can then get a real some real comparison to N&B. In the first series we had nothing to compare it to so no wonder we were dazzled. I love to imagin that SCD as a series will run and run and never lose it's sparkle. But we would then be a bit more discerning and perhaps have a bit of a different view of N&B. Then again, you never forget the first one!

I think Jill and Darren will win, I would like to think it could be Denise and Ian, but you have got to remember that the public are fickle and may vote for the other one who can't dance so but i am so upset that he is still there and not the welsh wizard. We do not want some one who can't dance to win ( Iam sorry I really like Erin but he should have gone) Vote for Jilland Vote for Denise it is a dancing competition .

I agree with the above comments. I think that Jill and Darren have put in on the whole consistently high performances throughout the whole series which I think means they do deserve it on balance. I love julian loads and think he has come on far more than the other couples.

I think that Julian will get the highest public vote, and it will be interesting to see who comes second and third as that will hold the key I think if Jill comes second in the public vote it puts her in a strong position because if she gets the top judges vote she will win no matter that Julian gets the public vote.

It will also therefore be very important as to gets the higher judges markes Denise or Jill. If Jill dances to her best and puts in the sort of performances she has been doing then I would have thought she would get the judges vote. A lot of that will depend on which ballroom dance jill does

I will be rooting for jill as i do think she deserves to win although i do think julian has done fantastic

Although Denise and Ian have been my favourites from the start, I think Jill and Darren deserve to win more, because they have just been so consistently good and Jill is technically far more superior to Denise. I also think everyone would be none too happy if Denise won and would probably think its a fix, judging from her lack of public support. I just hope she doesn't voice her ambitions to win too loudly next week and just keeps her mouth shut! And I think its amazing Denise has actually got to the final because its been such a non-cliched struggle to get there, so I'm delighted for her.  I think Jill and Denise will make this final amazing! I dont care who wins, as long as its not Julian (sorry!), but I'm rooting for both Jill and Denise.

Jill and Darren will win

a) because she is the best dancer

b) the judges will make sure she comes top after the judges scores, thus ensuring that even if Julioan wins the public vote he will not be able to win overall as Denise and Ian are so unpopular they will come low4est wioth the viewers votes.

It is quite possible that julian will win, if they all get 4 overall he would win with the highest public vote.
Aled and Lilia would not be drawn on Gmtv this morning but said itwwas anyone's.
I think that the voting system must be changed to ensure that the best dancers do get through but also to give the weaker ones achane, some are weak beacause for some reason , (work?) , they don't make the effort (Sarah?) some are just bad.
What about an x factor type , judges get final say on last two?
that would work mostly, not last week ?
Or maybe judges only til the semi and final.
could still be agood end to the show , allgive their votees on each couple and the board constantly changes, I coudl stick an extra 15 mins on the programme.

Jill should win , she dances well and performs ell if you see the differenc, Denise dances but doesn't present the dance so well.
jill to win now Aled has gone. Had he been there , jill would probably still have won but clser contest. And I really bellieve Aled and lilia would have pulled out all the stops for the final, they weresuperb sat, her routines are the best in the show and I think theybwill inthe specail.
Had email off his manger thanking his fans for their support and asking forr votes for the Special. He is absolutely guttedcand said he was very "wobbly" yeesterday, lilia took it very hard on saturday.
He intends to continue dancing.

Good for Aled! I think he was robbed on Saturday night! I would have put money on him being in the final (glad I didn't tho!) and I couldn't believe it when I heard Aled was leaving the competition - especially afer such great routines. I really like Julian but Aled was a way better dancer. At least there's the Christmas special to look forward to! And that will be a Julian-free zone!

I think jill and darren deserve to win.  It is only right they do win.  I definitely want them to win.  However, it is a reality show at the end of the day and what is right may not necessarily be what will be in the end.  Like many reality shows, there will be a lot of rigging and voting on popularity or sympathy.  Although it appears that denise and ian are not really liked by the public (they've been in the bottom two 3 times now), I actually think they are.  Don't ask me how I know this cause I can't really explain (let's call it intuition)!!  I've got this feeling that a LOT of people will feel sorry for them and therefore will get a LOT of sympathy votes, especially as she's (compared to Julian) not that bad a dancer.  We may be in for a surprise on Saturday as I think there are many many people out there who won't vote for Jill thinking there's no need to as she's the clear favourite but at the same time denise will be getting all these votes (sympathy or otherwise) and..... well I dread to go on.  Does anyone actually know what I'm trying to say??  I'm sorry if I'm not making myself clear - I tend to waffle when I'm excited!!  Bottom line - please please VOTE for Jill and Darren.

oh, 1 more point (sorry, I forgot to mention this), if you look back to the post by Halfpenny Hustler on who people think will be evicted in week 7, look at how many people thought it was going to be denise and ian.  A large percentage I'd say and the result?  What I'm trying to say is, don't be deceived by polls and what the bookies say.  Keep voting for Jill and Darren regardless of what you hear, see or read.

Yes, Letrightbedone! I was convinced that D&I would have gone on Saturday night and the feeling in my water was wrong!!! I felt that there was so little public support for them that J&E were a certainty to go! I have started voting for J&D already. Heaven help my phone bill... All of you out there who think that J&D are a surefire thing to win it shouldn't let complacency prevent you from doing all you can to ensure the dream team gets its just desserts! It would be a travesty for J&D not to win it. Fair play to D&I for how they have regrouped in recent weeks and now produce polished performances of a Saturday night but J&D have been consistently putting in polished performances all the way through! Jote for Jill and Darren and do it now! And again! And then some! You have the Julian Effect to counteract!!!

Did you see ITT tonight where the editor from heat said it was a good time for J&D to get a bit of a 'don't get complacent' jolt from the tango comments. It made them pull out all the stops for the Pasa and well deserved that 10. And maybe that little bit of fear will give them the edge in the final. I really hope so.

I do hope you're right! Yes, I heard the comment on tonight's ITT and he could have a point. It may just have been a wake-up call to J&D - on the part of the judges - to keep a sharp eye on their presentation and not overcook the choreography; especially as their moves have earned them praise in previous weeks without the excesses of last Saturday's tango. Arlene especially has said that Jill has the edge over Denise in terms of posture and her 'finishing' (expressive use of the arms and hands as well as feet at the end of a particular manouevre) and that showed in the ten she gave them for their paso doble (choke on that, Natasha!). I think both Denise and Ian and Jill and Darren will virtually spontaneously combust on that dancefloor come Saturday (hope their dresses are flame retardent..) and I am hoping - if previous form is anything to go by - that Jill leaves Denise in her wake! Vote for J&D! You know you want to!

I have just spent the past couple of hours going through each successive round of the competition on the Real Time Player objectively viewing each of the remaining couples in their various dances. My remit was improved technique and a consistently high level of performance. And time after time after time I saw footage of Jill being given pointers by the judges which, successive footage from the following week showed, she took onboard and incorporated into her routines. The only week when she lapsed temporarily was last week when her posture in the tango let her down. And then she came back with that dynamite paso!
There has been an improvement in Julian's technique. His posture is much better and his confidence level has improved beyond recognition. BUT (you knew there was one coming, didn't you?!) he still doesn't commit to the dance. His arm movements are limp, there is no attempt made to adapt them to the demands of the dance or to the music at all and his footwork is often laboured and slow. Granted he is better suited to the demands of ballroom than latin and I will concede that in terms of his ballroom performances such as the quickstep and the foxtrot he has great poise and control. But anything requiring him to co-ordinate his arms and legs in time with the music and away from Erin seems beyond him.
Denise has come on in leaps and bounds over the last few weeks. The jive seems to have been her turning point and fortunately for her it came sufficently early in the contest for her to regroup. She has and I have to admit that she now represents a threat to Jill and Darren - if only she could get sufficient numbers of the voting public on her side. Technically there is no reason why she shouldn't do well in the final as she has outpaced Julian in terms of development and there are times when she seriously gives Jill a run for her money. In the final analysis I believe Jill and Darren should win. Not just because I have supported them from the start but because, having watched their rounds again in the context of the dances of their remaining fellow competitors, I firmly believe that they have improved the most over the course of the contest and have maintained the standard to which those remaining have had to aspire. I am bracing myself for a blistering contest on Saturday night. If there is any justice it should be a two-horse race between Denise and Jill. I also believe that Jill is capable of 'going up a gear' under pressure (as she did last Saturday with the paso on the back of a so-so tango result) and with that in mind I am looking forward to a feast of fancy footwork and hopefully Jill and Darren's names on the trophy! Vote for J&D now!

you're absolutely right HH.  I credit denise and ian for their recent improvements but as you say, jill and darren have been consistently good throughout.  denise is tall, elegant and does look like a film star but i think jill is the better dancer (imo) and her partnership with darren is just dynamic.  they really do look like they've been dancing together forever and the compatibility, the 'togetherness' is just awesome.  jill's elegance is her dancing and she definitely dances from her heart.

Jill is such a natural dancer/performer, she makes learning the 10 dances look 'easy'. She may be gifted but she has also put in a lot of hard work.

Denise has had to learn to dance (she calls it her dance decathlon). Her tenacity and true grit in the 12 weeks or so, show why she is a woman of substance and an Olympic champion.

It may look like a two-way competition, but don't underestimate Julian ~ having come this far, he's got nothing to lose (but all to go for)

It is going to be a brilliant final. With blistering performances from the three queens!!!!!

Under the current voting rules, they could all get 4 and then Julian will win.
Jill must be placed first with the judges to win.If she isn't it would need Julians' mustered forces, (big campaign gone on as far as I can see) to decide not to bother to vote for him.
Either the judges make sure that Jill comes top or Julian will win , if that happens you can say goodbye to most of the judges for another series.
Denise has no chance of winning at all.

Hope the 'ostrich syndrome' is not representative of the nation's final voting...

you know...voting with our backsides while burying our heads in the sand.

Should be Jill and Darren, they are technically good and enjoyable to watch.
Julian and Erin are just REALLY enjoyable to watch,
Densie and Ian are just technically good.

VOTE JULIAN AND ERIN

I think it is possible that Denise and Ian will win....because for all those who don't want Jill to win the results end up with the judges vote, Jill & Darren 1st, Denise & Ian 2nd and Julian and Erin 3rd then the only possible way of stopping Jill and Darren from winning is to vote for Denise and Ian as Jill and Darren are second popular with the viewers.

VOTE DENISE AND IAN!!

Who I think will win and who I actually want to win are the same couple, Julian and Erin they're obviously very popular with the public and rightly so

Go Julian and Erin (or if not ol' Jules, then Denise will do!)

I think we have to remember the first series - no one could believe Chris got as far as the final, but in the end Natasha & Brendan rightfully won. I don't know, but maybe the public want to see the character in the final, or put through the person who's worked so hard (Julian, bless him - he definitely deserves to be in the final on effort). So I think Jill & Darren will win...at least, I hope they will! I agree that it won't be Denise & Ian...I reckon they're actually very good dancers, but for some reason they haven't made that connection with the public that gets them votes.

I think it would be ridiculous if judges left just because Julian & Erin won...yeah, he's not the best dancer, but he has made so much improvement. And made so much effort! And Erin is a genius, she's got more out of him than you would imagine. That doesn't mean I think they should win...I still think Jill & Darren should. But it wouldn't be the end of the world. :) And can you imagine their reaction if they won? Bless!

See that's what I keep thinking, one minute I think Julian and Erin will win but then I keep thinking about Natasha and Brendan last series. I really hope it is Julian and Erin though, coz she has done such a great job with him and as you say their reaction would be brilliant. I'm so torn my heart's saying Julian and Erin but then my heads saying it will be Jill and Darren

I can't wait for tomorrow night just to find out plus I can't wait to see Julian and Erin's show dance
