Im going to get all nostalgic because of the closure of the boards,but what are everyones best memories of all the Strictly Come Dancing's? I know its a very vast question,but if you had to pick one moment what would it be?

I really don't know. I love when Aled steps on Lil hair, when, I can remember exactaly, but either Aled pushes Lils out the fire exit or Lils pushes Aled out the fire exit and Aled says 'Freedom!'

yeah, aled stepping on lilia's hair was a good one but for me, it would have to be the whole natasha and brendan senario.

Although there were some brilliant moments in SCD2, the most memorable moment of the whole two series has to be Natasha and Brendan doing the dirty danicng lift in the final of series 1.

I have to agree,Brendan and Natasha were just so watchable in not just their dancing but also as a pair on screen,they were so funny together.

I have so many highlights but the ones that really stick out for me are:


Julian and Erin's freestyle I never get tired of watching it.


Julian and Erin generally


Sarah Manners I know she wasn't very popular with you guys but I think shes great


JLC and Paul's dance I have never laughed so much


Claudia- I loved some of the things she came out with 'I am very moved to my inerds'

I loved JLC!!!!


And my most memorable moment was when I had come home from work...the night of the SCD1 final...not knowing who had won and I stayed up till 2.30 in the morning just to watch it all as I couldn;t go to bed without knowing (even tho. I had work the next day!) and then the relief that N&B had won!!! It was brilliant!.  My mum had had dinner guests round that night and when she came up she said to me 'who;s won?' , as she was so worried Chris had won, and I told her and we both screeched and jumped and clapped and hugged!


Thats my best memory!!!

She was g8. Another thing she says bout J&E 'But r they dancing on the ceiling?' And with her sound button. Me and Jess walk around and suddenly 1 of us will pretend 2 press the button and say 'dum,dum,dum,dum,dum,dum,du-dum (eastenders thing!) or'Its the final countdown'

My most memorable moments - there are many, but off the top of my head:

1) JLC's banter with the dancers/celebs on the post-show show.

2) Chris and Hanna's paso doble - it wasn't all about technically great dancing, it was about having a laugh and I admired Chris's ability to laugh at himself.

3) Natasha and Brendan's freestyle - I didn't take to them at all at first, but by this stage even I was caught up in the "they've got to be, haven't they?" saga.

4) Julian's putdowns to CRH.

5) Len's witticisms (even if he probably spent hours preparing them).

6) Ian's turquoise outfit (a nation said in unison, "What the **** is he wearing?"...It was very brave.)

7) Ian getting all starstruck over meeting Shirley Bassey. He was never more lovable.

8) Denise saying that she was going to go out with a bang in the final and "explode on the dancefloor!" She was never more likable.

And I'd like to think that's how this board will end...with a bang...if indeed it does end.

I agree with u there. When I showed my m8 the tape of the final she herd Denise say that and said 'I hope she does explode!'

I'm sat here reading all these memories and they're making me cry SCD really has been great and no doubt will continue to be great , its just a shame thses boards won't still be here

I really like all of Lilia's comment they really made me laugh, Also of course Natasha and Brendan's win in the first series it was well deserved

twas (what century am i from??!) where i first saw paul and hanna and i have been obsessed with the professional competitors (not just p&h) ever since.  ah it begun my stalking obsession lol!
